Who should consider the Malibu Van 600 DB GT Skyview family-for-4?
Who it suits
- Families or groups needing four berths in a campervan measuring 5.99 metres long.
- Buyers who want a transverse rear bed, front lounge and pop-top arrangement rather than a larger coachbuilt layout.
Reasons to consider it
- The pop-top roof adds two berths while retaining the compact panel van conversion format.
- The flexi-washroom uses a revolving wall and is intended to provide a more adaptable washroom arrangement.
- The 84-litre compressor fridge, worktop extension and double-floor storage concept support the stated compact layout.
- The Skyview panoramic sunroof and leather-lined ceiling are specific features of this version.
- The recorded payload is 605kg at a 3,500kg MTPLM, although the usable figure should be checked against the actual vehicle.
What to check
- Confirm the real-world payload after factory options, accessories, fluids and personal equipment have been accounted for.
- Check that the four-berth arrangement meets the intended sleeping and travelling requirements.
- Measure the storage location against the vehicle's 2.69-metre height and 2.05-metre width.
- Inspect the pop-top roof, its GRP sandwich insulation and Protect cover, including operation and condition.
- Verify the exact kitchen, washroom, bed and Skyview equipment fitted to the vehicle.
Worth knowing: The recorded £65,000 to £92,000 range covers a broad spread of possible specifications and vehicle condition. A four-berth layout does not by itself confirm the number or suitability of travelling seats. The supplied data does not establish a production year or a particular vehicle's age.

Ownership checks for the Malibu Van 600 DB GT Skyview family-for-4
- Plan loading carefully because the vehicle has a 3,500kg MTPLM and a recorded 605kg payload, while four occupants and touring equipment can use capacity quickly.
- Use the 5.99-metre length and 2.05-metre width when checking parking, ferry, storage and access arrangements.
- Treat the 2.69-metre height as a practical access measurement, particularly with the pop-top roof fitted.
- Check the transverse bed dimensions and access arrangement before carrying bulky bedding or equipment.
- Keep the revolving-wall washroom clear so its intended flexi-washroom operation is not obstructed.
- Confirm the pop-top is fully secured before moving and inspect its cover and insulated construction as part of routine checks.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming the four-berth description confirms four suitable travelling seats.
- Relying on the recorded payload without checking the plated figure and the vehicle's actual fitted options.
- Using an access height based only on the base panel van and overlooking the 2.69-metre overall height.
Worth knowing: The supplied information does not identify model-year-specific maintenance intervals or faults. Actual operating requirements and equipment can vary with trim and optional equipment. Have the individual vehicle and its documentation checked before purchase.
