About Kimberley caravans

Founded in 1994 and based in Ballina, New South Wales, Kimberley began its journey by redefining the Australian camper trailer market. The brand quickly established itself as a pioneer in off-road engineering, driven by a requirement for vehicles that could survive the extreme conditions of the Kimberley region from which it takes its name. Throughout the late 1990s and 2000s, the company expanded its expertise from rugged camper trailers into the off-road caravan sector, introducing the Kruiser range which brought luxury amenities to remote locations. A significant milestone in the brand's history was its early adoption of sustainable energy solutions and lightweight aeronautical construction techniques. These innovations allowed for larger, more feature-rich caravans that did not compromise on off-road agility. Despite facing industry challenges and a corporate restructure in 2018, Kimberley emerged under new ownership with a renewed focus on quality control and technological advancement. Today, the manufacturer continues to operate as a specialist in the off-road sector, maintaining a reputation for robust design and eco-friendly touring. Their commitment to research and development ensures they remain a prominent name for adventurers requiring reliable, off-grid performance in both Australian and international markets.
