The Elddis Affinity 530 is a versatile caravan designed for all-season use, featuring Grade 3 thermal insulation and a 1450kg MTPLM. It accommodates between two and four people across layouts including a side dinette and a large front lounge double bed. Its 7.05 metre length and 2.26 metre width balance internal living space with manageable towing dimensions for a variety of family cars.
- Side Dinette, End Washroom, and Front Lounge Double layouts available.
- Constructed using the SoLiD bond system for water ingress protection.
- Equipped with Whale CompleteHeat 4.3kW dual-fuel heating.
- Standard safety features include AL-KO ATC and AKS stabiliser.
- Full-width rear washroom with a dedicated shower cubicle.
Worth knowing: The 155kg payload may be restrictive if adding multiple factory-fitted extras. While rated for up to four berths, the interior space is most comfortable for couples. Specific heating systems like Alde central heating vary by model year.

Who it suits
- Couples who desire a high-specification interior with a spacious boutique-style washroom.
- Small families who require the flexibility of a side dinette that converts to additional berths.
- Tourers who plan to use their caravan during winter months and require Grade 3 insulation.
Reasons to consider it
- The SoLiD construction method provides enhanced durability and moisture resistance.
- A 1450kg MTPLM makes it compatible with a broad range of mid-sized towing vehicles.
- The interior features high-quality appliances and a large panoramic sunroof for natural light.
What to check
- Confirm the presence of the AL-KO ATC system on the specific year of manufacture.
- Inspect the panoramic Sky-Scape sunroof for smooth operation of the internal blind.

The choice between these models often depends on whether the buyer prioritises the specific SoLiD construction and Whale heating system of the Affinity over the slightly lighter weight or different dimensions of its rivals.
Worth knowing: Specifications and prices can vary by model year, trim and optional equipment.
Ownership and Maintenance Tips
- Utilise the 7.05 metre length to your advantage by choosing pitches that accommodate mid-sized caravans.
- Regularly check the seals around the panoramic Sky-Scape sunroof to maintain the Grade 3 insulation integrity.
- Monitor the battery levels when using the 4.3kW dual-fuel heating off-grid.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Overloading the 155kg payload by not accounting for the weight of water in the system.
- Assuming all models have Alde heating, as some years use the Whale 4.3kW system.
Worth knowing: Always verify the MTPLM against your vehicle's towing capacity before purchase.
