- Shoppers comparing recorded specifications and layout information for this caravan.
- Owners wanting an L-shaped lounge and equipment aimed at extended or cooler-weather use.
Reasons to consider it
- The twin-axle layout is identified as providing greater towing stability and safety than a comparable single-axle arrangement.
- The L-shaped lounge gives the four-berth interior an open social seating area.
- Alde central heating and hot water, together with the supplied year-round comfort claim, support use in colder conditions.
- The 159kg payload offers useful carrying capacity, provided loaded weights are managed carefully.
- The island bed, centre washroom and high-specification kitchen give the layout a clear long-stay focus.
What to check
- Confirm the tow vehicle is suitable for the 1831kg MTPLM and the caravan's 2.45m width and twin-axle configuration.
- Verify dimensions, weight limits and layout against the exact vehicle.
- Check the actual available payload, including fitted options and touring equipment, against the recorded 159kg figure.
- Verify the condition and documentation for the SoLiD Construction body shell and the stated 10-year warranty.
- Confirm which anniversary detailing, Alde equipment, Aspire 2 oven, dual-fuel hob and E&P Leveling preparation are fitted to the specific caravan.
Worth knowing: The supplied data gives an MTPLM but no GVW figure, so any weight assessment should use the recorded MTPLM and the specific caravan's documents. The price range is a guide in the supplied data, not a confirmed price for a particular example. No production-year range is recorded, so age-related checks cannot be narrowed from the supplied information.

Ownership checks for the Elddis Crusader Borealis 60th Anniversary
- Keep documentation for the exact model year and trim with the vehicle.
- Use the 1831kg MTPLM and 159kg payload as the starting point for loading decisions, and confirm actual loaded weights for the individual caravan.
- Allow for the demands of a twin-axle caravan when manoeuvring, parking and positioning the L-shaped lounge and island-bed interior at a site.
- Check that the Alde heating and hot-water system, Aspire 2 oven and dual-fuel hob operate correctly before extended touring.
- Confirm the E&P Leveling system preparation and any fitted external BBQ point or 230V socket before relying on them.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the 159kg payload as spare capacity after equipment and personal effects have been loaded.
- Underestimating the clearance and turning space needed for a 2.45m-wide, 2.65m-high twin-axle caravan.
- Assuming anniversary equipment or optional items are fitted without checking the individual caravan's specification.
Worth knowing: The supplied information does not identify age-related faults or maintenance intervals. Equipment and specifications may vary by model year, trim and optional equipment, so the individual caravan's documents take precedence.
