What to check

- Measure storage access and confirm that the end washroom, side dinette and front lounge meet the intended use.

Lunar Lexon CD ownership checks
- Use the recorded 7.15-metre length, 2.28-metre width and 2.63-metre height when checking storage, access and towing routes.
- Keep the caravan's loaded weight within its 1450kg MTPLM and account for the 170kg payload when adding equipment.
- Distribute luggage around the front lounge double, side dinette and end washroom rather than concentrating weight in one area.
- Check the single-axle running gear, AL-KO chassis and Euro-axle during servicing and before longer trips.
- Test the listed Truma blown-air heating, kitchen equipment and LED lighting before departure.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the 170kg payload as available capacity without allowing for fitted optional equipment and personal kit.
- Assuming every Lexon CD has identical equipment when specifications can vary by model year, trim and optional equipment.
- Overlooking access and storage limits created by the caravan's 7.15-metre length and 2.63-metre height.
Worth knowing: Arrange condition and safety checks for the individual caravan. Confirm replacement-part availability before committing to repairs or refurbishment. The supplied data does not provide a production year, so age-related assessment requires confirmation from the caravan records.
