Reasons to consider it
- The full-width rear washroom includes a separate fully lined shower cubicle.
- The Alu-Tech construction provides structural integrity and enhanced thermal performance.

What to check
- Verify the condition of the 14-inch TUV tested alloy wheels.

While the Swift Sprite Compact is shorter and the Bailey Discovery D4 2 is lighter, the Phoenix 420 balances these traits with a higher interior specification including the K-Series oven and Brockwell upholstery. The choice between these models typically depends on whether the buyer prioritises the lowest possible towing weight or the specific luxury features of the Black Edition trim.
Worth knowing: Specifications and prices can vary by model year, trim and optional equipment.
Ownership and Maintenance Tips
- Utilise the 5.56 metre length to access smaller pitches that larger caravans cannot reach.
- Monitor the 14-inch graphite alloy wheels for any signs of kerb damage to maintain the Black Edition aesthetic.
- Make use of the LED lighting to reduce strain on the leisure battery during off-grid stays.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Overloading the vehicle beyond its 1146kg MTPLM when fitting optional extras.
- Assuming the front lounge can accommodate more than two people for sleeping.
Worth knowing: The 117kg payload must cover all gas bottles, leisure batteries, and personal kit.
