A-Class: What it means and why it matters

An A-class motorhome has a fully integrated cab. The driving area is part of the habitation body, not a standard van cab. It offers the most spacious and premium motorhome experience.

A-class motorhomes replace the standard van windscreen and cab with a purpose-built front section, creating a continuous living space from front to back. The cab area typically features a large drop-down bed above the dashboard (which stows away during driving) and swivelling cab seats that become part of the lounge. A-classes are the most expensive and spacious motorhome type, offering superior insulation, better aerodynamics, and a truly integrated living experience. Most are over 3,500kg GVW and require C1 licence entitlement.

    Why this matters

The premium motorhome experience. But at a premium price and almost always requiring C1. Budget £60,000+ for used, £100,000+ for new.
